Saraswati Sishu Mandir, Patia, BBSR provides good quality, Co-education, Odia medium school, Indian culture based Dance, song, computer, art education, inculcation of values, awareness of environment, adventure activities and physical education. New programs and innovative practices and activities are organized as a part of curriculum transaction for setting and maintaining higher standards of students' performance. Saraswati Sishu Mandir situated at Bhubaneswar city, creates a well and discipline atmosphere for learning and promoting the budding talents. It has launched a various programs to provide quality education coupled with holistic development. Led by a powerful vision, it is going to leverage its strengths and overcome its shortcomings.

As an educator I had an earnest desire to build up an institution where an education blended in all colors of human values could be given and today I feel proud to say that my lofty dream of a quality institution is taking shape through it. Today IPS is one of the fastest growing schools of the city because of the high standards it has set for itself in providing excellent education and living up to its school motto "Inspire to Enlighten". We have always believed that, "Excellence is never an accident; it's always the result of high intention, sincere efforts, intelligent direction and skilful execution." These words of wisdom best describe the present state of the SSM.

Academics History

The medium of instruction is ODIYA. A high standard of Odiya is necessary for success in the BSE. However, English and Oriya have a vital role in the curriculum and are taught daily in all standards.

The Curriculum, therefore, Value Education, English , History, Geography, Odiya, Mathematics, Science and Hindi, Sanskrit, Computer Science, Socially Useful Productive Work (such as class cleaning) and Environmental Studies (EVS). Regular attendance, alertness in class, performance of regular class work and revision are sufficient to make progress. Parents can make the class teaching even more valuable if they teach and guide at home. Odiya is the medium of instruction.
